Idé-Pro expands capacity in the light metal department with new die casting and machining machines.
To meet the increasing demand for casting and machining of technical items in light metal, we have invested in a number of new machines. Among other things, we are installing Denmark's largest die casting machine, a zinc hot chamber machine, a machining machine and a sling cleaning system in Skive.
"This significant investment in our light metal department shows that we are a major player in the European market and that we can deliver a wide range of technical parts in record time. And I have always seen it as important that we produce technical parts in Denmark, close to our customers."
Morten Nors, CEO and founder, Idé-Pro Skive A/S
We have just purchased an Italpresse TF 1350 that can cast items weighing up to 21.8 kg, which will be the largest high-pressure die-casting machine in Denmark. With it, we expect to initiate some very exciting projects, both from current and future customers.
We have also purchased a 125T zinc hot chamber machine that can cast items weighing 3.4kg. Due to our own tool factory on the same site, we will be able to go from 3D file to tool making and finished zinc castings in just a few days.
For post-processing, we have invested in a Makino A61nx, one of the fastest and most precise machining centres on the market, as well as an RHBE11/16-L, a swarf cleaning system that provides an unrivalled and uniform surface treatment of parts.
To be able to produce 24/7 with high efficiency, a wide range of robots have also been purchased to help with the automation. All machines will be installed in Skive within the next few months.
We focus on helping our customers quickly from idea to production with our own in-house development department, tool factory, highly automated foundry and final assembly of the finished product.
