Entrepreneur Daniel Hansen had a great idea when he opened cardboard boxes one day and stocked up on goods.
When companies receive goods in cardboard boxes, the top is often either held to the sides or cut off when the boxes are put into storage. Both of these often make the cardboard boxes non-recyclable, which is a huge waste for the environment and the company.
Instead of cutting the sides off cardboard boxes, Daniel wanted to develop a product to hold them in. Flipholder, as it came to be called, was to be made of plastic with a soft, rounded surface that, unlike existing metal clips, would not damage the cardboard boxes.
After a few conversations with Daniel about his requirements for the final product, our design department receives a 3D file which we mould. We then make the moulding tool in our in-house tool factory and prepare to cast.
Just before we started production, Daniel announced that the first 20,000 flip holders had already been sold.
A few days later, we have moulded, packed and delivered the red flip holders. Daniel's idea for the patented Flipholder was on the market. Boxes in warehouses can be reused without usage labels, helping companies to stay green.

Flipholder.dk has since been sold to KD Emballage A/S, a nationwide Danish supplier of packaging solutions.
"I would always recommend Idé-Pro as a partner for entrepreneurs. I came up with the idea and a few weeks later I had the first Flipholder in my hand, it couldn't have been better."
