PS impact-modified polystyrene (HIPS)

Suitable construction plastic and a low-cost material at the same time. Can be dyed with MB to achieve the desired colour.

ABS acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene

Suitable construction plastic and available with flame retardant if UL 94 requirements are met.

PC/ABS

Very good construction plastic with high durability requirements and available with flame retardant if UL 94 requirements are met.

PP polypropylene

Very good chemical resistance and very suitable for the food industry and large items. PP can be added with talc and GF to achieve the desired mechanical properties.

PA6 polyamide

Is a tough material with high tensile strength, elasticity and lustre. PA6 is highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals such as acids and alkalis. Is slightly hygroscopic, where the absorption of water acts as a plasticiser, making the item stronger and tougher.

POM polyoxymethylene

Semi-crystalline thermoplastic that occurs both as homopolymer and copolymer. Good resilience and good wear and friction properties.

TPE thermoplastic elastomer

Good for items that require fine tolerances and smaller wall thicknesses. The material is durable and often used for fittings, hinges, etc. Density: 6,7kg/dm3
